State-of-the-Art Simulation Labs

The UT Medical Nursing Building is home to state-of-the-art simulation and skills labs that provide students with immersive, hands-on learning experiences. Designed to mirror real-world health care environments, these innovative spaces allow students to develop clinical judgment, strengthen technical skills, and build confidence before caring for patients. Through high-fidelity simulation, standardized patient encounters, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities, the College of Nursing prepares future nurses to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care in an increasingly complex healthcare landscape.

UT College of Nursing provides the infrastructure—such as the new Groer Family VolBiome Lab—resources, and interdisciplinary partnerships that young scientists need to thrive, while giving students meaningful opportunities to participate in research that advances nursing science and strengthens evidence-based nursing practice.
